Larry Hagman, who created one of American television’s most supreme villains in the conniving, amoral oilman J.R. Ewing of “Dallas,” died on Friday, the Dallas Morning News reported. He was 81.

Funny guy. I remember the 'fight' he had with a nieghbor and all the funny things he did to him. It was Burgess Meredith, who played "The Penguin" villan in the original Batman tv show. Watched reruns of I Dream of Jeannie when I was a kid. Great actor.

RIP, Major Nelson. I Dream of Jeannie is one of my favorite shows and he will be missed.
