"...play Motörhead loud.."

Way ahead of you. Listening to a live version of Motorhead as we speak.

R.I.P Lemmy, another legend taken off this Earth.

I too was never a fan of Motorhead but i do know who he is. It's always shocking to me when it's about musicians. RIP Lemmy.

This makes it the 2nd legendary rock musician that has gone this year. This sucks :(

Or possibly this month, with Scott Weiland's death back in the 4th.

I am a small fan of Motorhead I mainly love the song the game but I like many others.

R.I.P Lemmy :(

Such sad news. Luckily I got to go see Motörhead a few years. All I can say that it was an awesome show.

And here I was trying to get my band to do a cover of Ace of Spades recently. They're gonna do it, whether they like it not, now.

I'm still in shock. Such an iconic musician who will be greatly missed. Rock In Peace.

...Oh Lemmy. With your lifestyle I thought you'd kick the bucket much sooner, but somehow you endured till now. Now that is a miracle.

You'll be missed, dude. First time I heard Motorhead, my parents' lawn died. Hopefully you get the reference.

Hawkwind > Motorhead. Still, it's a shame--rode hard and put away wet clearly isn't ideal.

Man this upset me so bad, he was still rocking out at 70, like a champ.
I listened to motorhead the whole day.

I happened to visit the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip last summer, unaware of the fact that it was Lemmy's daily hang-out when he was not on tour. As it turns out, Motörhead played their last show in LA on the very same night, and I also found a picture that shows that Lemmy was in the bar in late August too - so what are the chances he showed up later that night and we missed him?! We almost went back to the Rainbow after the gig we were at was over, but went somewhere else instead... it's very possible that we missed a unique opportunity to see Lemmy in his native habitat. :(

Incidentally, the Rainbow is the craziest place I've ever been for a drink bar none - people openly trading and consuming copious quantities of green stuff, and that was at the tables outside facing the pavement... can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors in that place.
