Man I've seen some solid racing tonight from a few people. I know there's been a few comments on other threads about matching up with the same guys but... 7 out of 10 times I've seen this happen it's been a solid battle between those racers myself included. I like the fact the game does this simply because it allows a friendly rival or I guess unfriendly depending on how the race finished lol. But I really like how these rooms are being put together

Me too. Last week I played a few races and I'm not particularly fast but I am fair, avoid crashing etc. I just ended up with morons. People pushing each other off track, side swiping etc.
Last night I tried again and it was like a different game. Competitive, fair and friendly. If this keeps up Gt Sport will be in a class of its own.

Also am I right in thinking that there's no chat at all in the game? I haven't googled it yet but couldn't seem to get it to work (don't normally use chat in games unless private lobbies, but for the first time in a while it felt like it could have worked well with the game matching.
Pros could chat with each other discussing fine subtleties.
Keen regular players could have normal chat.
All the morons crashing into each other, and bleeding ears with awful crap rap would be lumped in with each other.
