I wanted to get some thoughts on added mods to current race spec or heavily modified stock vehicles (I.e. enzo, touring cars).
For example, I bought the older vw golf and evo, taking them both to GT auto for race mod packages. Now I've noticed that after, you can still buy the front and rear sway bars for stability, a LSD and sometimes a few additional parts depending on the total package.
My question is if everyone thinks its beneficial to add all remaining tuning parts still available, minus those adding hp, but rather those involving handling to a quote on quote Race Spec car?
I've gone right ahead and done just that, but wondered after if I'm not altering what's already the best setup possible? I mean, wouldn't a race mod car have the stability bars? Wouldn't a race mod evo be setup for limited slip?
I'm just wondering if I'm not altering something that is already great?
Cheers!
