RM & LM Tunes

I'm unsure if anyone has one of these going but from my searches, I've only found scattered pieces of info. I thought I would create a thread where people can post their tried & true tunes for RM & LM models. Afterall, these are the cars we all really want & there's no point having one if it drives like crap. Please post your tunes here for all to enjoy...

I'll kick things of with a couple of mine. Note that I don't simply max out cars then try to reign them in. I do basics then develop cars to be good all-rounders. Others will have tunes for ultimate straight-line speed & power (which would also be great posts for here).

'69 Camaro Z28 RM

Upgrades:
Do the RM straight off & change oil. Install ECU & Eng to stage 3, race filter & intake man, exhaust piping & cat. Then fit LSD & soft race tyres.

Tune:
Ride Height - as low as it goes both F & R.
Rollbar - F 2 & R 6
Camber - F 2.0 & R 0
Toe - F 0.20 & R 0
LSD - IT 20, A 45, B 15
Tran - 300kph

'70 Dodge Challenger RM

I use this exact same setup as the Camaro above however I left the Eng as standard (the Dodge makes around 550hp with other upgrades anyway).

'06 Corvette Z06 RM

Upgrades:
Do the RM straight off & change oil. Install ECU, race filter & intake man, exhaust piping & cat. Then fit LSD & soft race tyres.

Tune:
Ride Height - It's already set at lowest (just leave it).
Rollbar - Leave Front alone, set Rear to 3
Camber - F 2.0 & R 0
Toe - F 0.20 & R 0
LSD - IT 20, A 30, B 40
Tran - Leave alone, they have a tall 6th gear anyway.

I have also just added a supercharger to the car & it drives just as well with the above setup. It now makes about 695hp.

All 3 of the above tunes should serve you well for general circuit use.👍

'10 Nascars

Upgrades:
Buy one & change the oil. For the record, the Chevs & Toyotas are louder than the Fords. Buy soft race tyres.

Tune:
Ride Height - F -20 & R -20.
Rollbar - F 4 & R 6
Camber - Leave alone
Toe - Leave alone
LSD - Leave alone
Tran - 400kph for ovals, up to you for circuits but 350kph is as low as I go.

I've found that on circuits the soft tyres only wear marginally quicker than hard tyres (but they offer a heap more grip). I've also found that winning the Indianapolis race in Nascar Cup with the above setup is piss easy if you have soft front tyres & hard rears. I've never had to play with downforce.

Does anyone have a acura nsx 91 RM tune? This car just cant seem to hang in expert with me right now.

I have a great tune on me ZR-1 LM ill post tomorrow that is very tight and very fast.

P.S. doesnt anyone else think this should be a sticky once people actually put up some tunes?

'91 NSX RM

Upgrades:
Do the RM straight off. Install ECU & Eng to stage 3, race filter & intake man, exhaust piping & cat. Then fit soft race tyres.

Tune:
Ride Height - F -15 & R -15
Rollbar - F 5 & R 4
Camber - F 3.5 & R 2.0
Toe - F 0 & R 0.20
Brakes - F 5 & R 5
Tran - 300kph

I did not fit the LSD as the NSX doesn't make very much power (mine now has 421hp after a fair bit of driving). Tyre wear is also non-existent with this setup but the LSD may jeopardise that.

'00 Tuscan Speed 6 RM

Upgrades:
Do the RM straight off & change oil. Install ECU & Eng to stage 2, race filter & intake man, exhaust piping & cat. Then fit LSD & soft race tyres.

Tune:
Ride Height - F -15 & R -15
Rollbar - F 3 & R 6
Camber - F 2.0 & R 0
Toe - F 0 & R 0.20
LSD - IT 10, A 40, B 20
Tran - 320kph

btw op, just wondering, did u adjust the downforce or mess with the springs and dampers on the camaro? also any adjustments to the brakes?

How does the RM NSX compare to the Type R'02 from Honda?
