Roadster endurance

First off, I have a problem with the roadster endurance being a pinata endurance.  There are plenty of roadsters in the game, and I don't like pinatas.

That done, which miata is the best to run the endurance race with?  I tried the LX, but no matter how well I drove, everybody passed me.

can I make ANY modifications to the car besides tires?

What's the deal with this race?  Why do you have to run an unmodified Miata?  Why not a RUF or Elise or Tuscan roadster?

Nice to meet you all... I think this is a great forum.

- I won the Miata MX-5 RS from getting all golds in B-License.
- I used to win Sunday Cup (3,000 Cr)
- I bought Medium Tires and went to run Roadster Endurance
- It took me a few laps to be in 1st place but after this won basically in Pits stops (my tires last about 13-15 laps).
- First time I won Miata 1.8 RS but second time I won F688/s
- Now I have over 200,000 Crs and a F1 car.

Note: This was not my idea I read it from some previous post and it did work great.
