I'm a long time GTer, but only just joined these great forums a few months ago (actually joined over a year ago, but had issues with my password up until GT5's release). I hardly messed with the photography mode in Gran Turismo 4, but with this latest entry, I couldn't ignore it. Especially inspired by many of you regulars in the Photomode Forums here, I began to spend way too much time behind the virtual lens shooting my favorite cars. I've found it's quite addictive trying to nail the perfect shot, and even more fun attempting to find locations that haven't been shot before, or that haven't been shot a certain way.

After spending all that time shooting, what then? I thought I should make one of these here photomode galleries. I'm sure some of you vets out there can school me in a few tips along the way. So on to my first selection ...

SEPANG BLUE AUDI RS6 AVANT
Locations: Ahrweiler Gate, Nürburgring 24 Hours, Grand Valley Speedway

Yes, I love my RS6 ... But where is the RS4!?

I wasn't super into the first one all that much initially, but it's grown on me quite a bit since then. Thanks!

Yeah, sunrise at the Nürburgring 24 Hours makes for a pleasing backdrop. And as an Audi guy, naturally I'm attracted to this monster Avant.

These are some very good starting shots. I love the dusk feel you have captured in the middle 4 shots.

ROSSO CORSA FERRARI ENZO FERRARI
Locations: Trial Mountain, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, San Gimignano - Town Square

Ah the Enzo ... I can't believe this thing is nearly ten years old. At first I had mixed feelings about its styling—long front overhangs are a tough sale for me—but once I learned the specs and understood this car was all about function, in time I grew to appreciate its striking shape. Look at those tail lamps. All these years later, and the latest "baby Ferrari" has tail lamps inspired by this iconic car.

Here I hoped to capture the Enzo putting all that function to good use. Of course I tried to make it look pretty in the process ... Let me know what you think.

VERDE DRACO LAMBORGHINI LP640
Locations: London, San Gimignano - Town Square, Siena - Piazza del Campo

I've loved this color ever since I saw it in the LP640 segment on Top Gear. Despite many claims on these forums that the LP640 was a bad car, I still had to get my hands on one. I knew it would be a handful, so I just make sure to give it full respect when approaching its limit out on the track. It's obviously not as "tossable" as the LP560, but it's still a blast to drive considering this isn't a light car.

OBSIDIANSCHARZ METALLIC MERCEDES-BENZ C63 AMG
Locations: Côte d'Azur, Red Bull Hangar-7 (exterior)

Just a few shots here of the C63 ... I was quite impressed with this car as the BMW M3 is the usual go-to "fast saloon car." However, there's a lot of character in this car especially under the hood with it's 6.2L V8 providing plenty of tail wagging action. If only the RS4 was in this game ...
