Hi all. I'm XSquareStickIt and I've just joined gtplanet. Pleased to be with you.
As you can probably tell by now, I'm a big fan of Mazda's Rotary Engines. I've fallen in love at first sight with the 1998 RX-7 Type RS when I played Gran Turismo 2 when I was around 8, and I have learned everything I know behind the wheel from that car. As I grew older, I began to feel glad that it was the RX-7 that I had fallen in love with, for it's Rotary goodness, surgical knife handling, and it's beauty. Nothing can replace that car in my heart.
I've not played GT3 and 4, and obviously GT2-5 is a big jump for me. I now tune a 1991 RX-7 Type R, because it's my opinion that a limited edition model, the Spirit R, should never be modified, even if it's just a game. I use stock tyres (Hard Sports) because Racing tyres don't sound very road worthy or even legal, and I wanted my car to be useable on a daily basis, yes, even if it's just a game. I also refrain from the rear wings and exhaust pipes the game gives, because all the spoilers the game gives feel so "tacked on" and ugly. But as for every other part, such as suspension, I go all out. I won't say I'm very good at tuning though. I've not been able to properly test my abilities given my self imposed "rules" when it comes to tuning, since my car sits at an odd 484PP and online races are held at "neat" numbers like 500, and have no tyre restrictions.
Well, that's my lengthy intro aside. I just want to know if anybody here shares my same viewpoints, or just have their own little odd rules and philosophies of their own like me that they'd like to share. Before ending, let me share a picture of my FD as a proud owner
Thank you for your time to read this!
Incidentally, I have 2 albums on Facebook that I upload GT5 photos to. The first is

...where I was just starting the game and I didn't know how the camera worked, but got better, and the second,

Which serves as a continuation of the first album after it sort of glitched out after 400 photos :S
