I've been doing a race here recently that I have come to enjoy.
This is how it goes:
Fully modded Honda Integra Type-R '98 (J) currently, 481 HP
The track: Seattle, Arcade mode normal (3 lapper)
This race has proved to be quite a challenge as I have not even been able to capture the #1 spot versus the AI. So the competition can be fierce.
Added to the mix is the frustration of understeer in a powerful FF drivetrain. Perfect driving is a must on this one as any mistakes with the FF car are not easily corrected.
I have found that this race is good for practicing throttle control, steering response, and proper apexing.
In addition to this, it's been quite the eye opening experience with trying to set up a FF car to perfection. I'm sure that there might be a race in this comp that will require at least one of us to run in a FF car.
I'll set the pace here with a 4'51.081.
Lap 1: 1'42.684
Lap 2: 1'33.877
Lap 3: 1'34.520
I'd like to note that this replay here is not 100% wall free. There are a few minor scrapes with a wall here and there, and many rubs and bumbs with the AI.
I'd like to set as a rule for this race that the race must be run 100% wall free. The only exception to this is if an AI car has forced you into the wall.
Contact with the AI that does not provide you with a distinct advantage will be acceptable. (it's almost imposible not to bump the AI here at Seattle.
As you all know, there are little pockets of 'sidewalk' or 'track' that are on the opposite side of the rumble strip here at Seattle, these will be considered as inbounds and perfectly legal to drive in with all 4 tires.
