You have until 11:59 central Standard time on the 21th of April to pm me the time. I will accept only one laptime to save my inbox from confusion of having more than one time from people.

P.S. Frizbe found out that if you go into Multiplayer>Private Race and then set the AI cars to 7 you can run your own personalized Endurance race. Perfect for getting to know the track and it also fattens that wallet a bit.

Also Im thinking crazy for next week be prepared!!!

Hmm sad turnout guys....

Nice job icelt. 👍

As for me what happened is I'm getting annoyed by how twitchy every single car is in every corner - you can't apply too much throttle mid corner because you'll oversteer, or you can't let off the throttle too long because you'll still oversteer, or understeer right into a patch of grass and your car will instantly stop itself.

Forza can be just as, if not more annoying than GT can at times.

I still had fun though. :P

WOAAAAAAAAH.
...
WOAAAAAAAAH.

You can tell damn straight I'm entering this one. Let's see, will it be my 240Z, my Miata, or my Protege? I'll start tonight.

Wow, this makes me wish I would have worked a little harder on my Lambo lap time. She pushed a bit too much in the slow curves, and it really hurt my laptimes. It happens.

This should be interesting though, I have a lot of different options to go with.

I've chosen my Devil Z for this round. I just need a little more tuning to keep the outside tire from spinning around corners, and to change it's personality a bit for this track.

That said, I'm getting devilishly fast laptimes. ;)

Thanks but gotta admit I'm kinda shocked. I know I left a solid 2 secs out there, just so many goofy corners on that track, so that's why I figured my time wasn't all that hot. Guess in retrospect I mostly got lucky with the car selection.

Re: R16 I've actually found that the '71 GT-R 2000 can scoot around this track pretty good, even in RWD form.

That was my secondary choice, I probably could have shaved a good second off my time with the 71 GT-R. Whatever, my time is now set in stone.

I find this event incredibly frustrating, personally speaking. I'm struggling to find the right car for me, thus far, it being my '93 SVT Cobra. In my mind, that's not good enough. We'll see if I have the stones to submit or not this week.

I think I'm running about 270. This car is great at sharp corners, but my main problem was the hairpin right before the circle sweeper thing.

The cars I use are the cars that I use normally, but with specific tuning. Makes things cheaper for me, because I can't seem to save up any more than 300,000, but does hurt my laptimes.

Ah, who cares?

If you want a specific car (or need some credits) I wouldn't mind gifting you a car, or buying out an auction to give you some credits. I used to be poor myself, so I know what it's like.

Oh, and am I the only person who has a car with 340+ hp? :P

Yeah for the tuned events I don't mind helping people out here and there either. I'm sitting at about 6.7 mil so I can definitely contribute some.

Anyway Re: R16, just double checked and the GT-R I used is at a whopping 205 hp and 2072 lbs. Slender but deadly fast... Kate Moss like you might say ;)

That would be okay, but I have no money in real life, and I don't have XBL Gold. Despite that, when I feel I really want a car, I'll just work for it.

And yes.

That's my theory taken to the extremes, I like a very high revving engine, and have a nasty habit of only upgrading my cars to road-legal spec.

Good work T-12! But, consider yourself lucky. I lost because I gave up too early, next time, you won't be so lucky. ;)

EDIT: Don't use this as an excuse to use Amalfi coast. I hate that track with a passion.

Thank you, and I'll keep that in mind. :dopey:

You're not directing that toward me, were you? Because I don't particularly care for Amalfi Coast either. The same passion you hate AF with, is the same passion I hate Fujimi with.

Can't stand that damn track...but that's neither here nor there, is it?

I was directing it at whoever is doing the next WRS.

I'd do it, but the whole deal of no XBL, and no pictures, so yeah.

And I quite like Fujimi, it's my test track for all my cars. I like it's rhythm, it just flows well for me. Quite unlike Amalfi, where I simply cannot find the optimum line nor any rhythm.
