Just a thought.

Although the build of the track they put up for round 2 could be the one they'll use for the national final so they removed penalties in turns 9 and 10 in case people go off there?

I don't think the course creator is a big enough feature that promoting it would offset the negative press they received from the hard core supporters of the game.
