i checked and didn't see anything recent on this but......

top times are all going off course without penalty around the braking marker. just sayin....

Meh, just do the same thing and try and beat their times. Bet you , you still cant. Again, exploits or no exploits, the top dudes will usually be the same guys.

Bunch a bologna right here... I'm sure he is well aware he could do the same exploit... But if he is making a thread asking about it I doubt he is willing to do it... So u think these guys that are changing the corner so dramatically would still be on the top of the leader boards if they weren't cheating? Doubt that. They are gaining a decent amount of time by doing what they are doing. I guess PD just doesn't feel like resetting another leader board and fixing another exploit because of these people..

O well not much we can do about it I guess except just take a lower rank. I wouldn't bet everything I own on it but I would bet at least half of it on the fact that if something were to be found like this on the final round that they would either wipe the board clean and fix it or they would just ignore the times put in by the cheaters.

Even if no one was using the shortcut pretty much the same people would be up by the top.

Maybe on some of the time trials or full lap or something. But this challenge? I doubt it. They are gaining way too much time by doing what they are doing on 6-3. But like I said, o well. Not much we can do except take a lower rank... And get a laugh or 2 out of watching them play like 10 year olds.


And also... No offense, BUT that theory of "those guys will be on top not matter what" is more of an excuse than reality. Fast guys are fast for a reason, yes. But fast guys who cheat to get extra time will be faster than the guys who don't cheat... So what if EVERYONE was cutting the corner? It would still be the same guys up top or would faster guys beat them out? Just because they are willing to do things they wouldn't do in real life doesn't mean they are "better"

The same people would still be at the top! You can't try to claim the moral high ground just by saying it should be illegal, they are clearly legit times and PD hasn't reset the leaderboards so they are happy, stop using it as an excuse

Happy? Yah I'm sure they are totally thrilled that they had to spend extra time patching a track and "inconveniencing" everyone by clearing the leaserboard for 6-5.

And this is the same basic cheat but instead of going inside the markers they are going outside.

If they were that bothered they would have designed the challenge differently in the first place and it isn't exactly like it is an unfair advantage for anyone as everyone has the option of using it

P.s. not everyone has the same "well my friends jumped off a bridge so I guess i gotta do it" attitude. Some people actually wanna be ranked by their actual "skill"

These rounds don't even count. What's the big deal? And I agree the fast guys will be at the top regardless the challenge. 8-5 will be the same people at the top plus a handful of sandbaggers that didn't waste there time doing these rounds. The cream always rises to the top regardless of how they get there.

Jumping off the bridge was fun. It was scary the first time though.
