Welcome to the RESHIRAM5 Prototype Series where we'll use the Peugeot 908 Base Model to form 2 different classes of Prototypes known as R1 (RESHIRAM5 Prototype 1) and R2 (RESHIRAM5 Prototype 2).

Rules and Room Settings:
Remain On-topic.
OLR Rules apply.
1 Mandatory Pit Stop.
Tuning is allowed but adding a Turbo is forbidden.
ABS is the only aid allowed.
Damage is off both Physically and Mechanically.
Everything else is real.
Tyre and Fuel depletion are on Normal.


Schedule and Times:
The date of each race will be shown in the Race List section.


Midday GMT - Room Opens.
1pm GMT - Qualifying (5 Minutes)
After Qualifying - Race.

Both classes will use the Peugeot 908 Base Model as a chassis.


Each Class has 3 Engine Suppliers that each drivers must choose from (use your imagination :P).

R1 Engine Suppliers:
Porsche
Lexus
Nissan


R2 Engine Suppliers:
Chevrolet
Nissan
Honda


Despite this the car specs are all the same and only depend on your class.
Both Classes use Racing Hard Tires.
R1 Specs:
700BHP
1000KG


R2 Specs:
500BHP
930KG


In an attempt to help people identify which class does each car represent there are number regulations for each class:
R1 Numbers:
Type A and must be 1-50
R2 Numbers:
Type B and must be 51-99.


Races
There are 5 races in this championship.


Each Race are:
Only around 45 Minutes with 5 Minute Qualifying.
Sunny unless stated Otherwise.


Each race is rolling start Double File, so on the First lap we all go around 100kph (60mph) in our Q positions until the driver in first crosses the line then we race.

Point System:
The point system goes like this:
1st - 15
2nd - 12
3rd - 10
4th - 8
5th - 7
6th - 6
7th - 5
8th - 4
9th - 3
10th - 2
11th - 1
Rest - 0.5


We'll also use the Drop Round system, if a driver completes every round, they must choose which round doesn't count towards the championship, this is done so people who miss out on a race can still compete for the championship.

Very interesting. Probably be out at time though. Could I maybe reccomend the McLaren F1 Base model as a second class? Then we have some visual variety...
 
That could work and would help identify which car is in each class so we don't have to do the number regs but R2 is intended to be the lighter, less powerful class and I don't think the Mclaren weight is lower than 1000kg.

We could however make Mclaren the R1 Chassis (with Turbo being allowed) but I'll have to redo some things :P.

Tbh, if you really wanted, the 908, R18, Speed 8 and TS020 could all be specced to be similar lap-times. This could be a good starting point, but would need slight changing as they are specifically for HSR, and GT5.

And if you still want a second class on top of that, I bet the McLaren F1 and Mazda Furai would be close to each other.

Also, I won't be able to compete, just giving you advice.:)
 
Interesting idea but I like to keep it one chassis for each class.

I'll test the Mclaren F1 GTR to see if it can be the R1 Chassis.
