Rseat EVO V3 review + Fanatec GT3

Well, my rig and wheel setup finally arrived last week. I can't believe it took me this long to do it after using a DFP w/ a TV tray for so long. There is no comparison as you can imagine so what I would like to do is share my experience w/ the Customer Service Dept. @ Rseat.

I initially ordered the RS GTR V2. I was excited by the $399 price tag, so excited that I neglected to fully read the description of the product and failed to realize that I needed to purchase an adapter kit so my Fanatec wheel/pedal set would fit correctly. I contacted Rseat and told them I needed to cancel my order b/c I didn't want to go outside of my budget. It would've costed an extra $100+shipping to send the adapter kit. Then, they upped the ante. The gentleman was more than willing to cancel my order but he also countered by offering me the EVO V3 for an extra $100. Well, I gave it some thought and decided to go with this deal as it saved me about $75 (if I would've ordered the EVO V3 initially). I'm sure his angle was to keep the business in-house and don't lose an order over $75. I get that. I just appreciated the fact that he extended the offer to me, even though the mistake was made on my end.

Props to Rseat for their great service. The stability of the rig is outstanding and I could not be more satisfied. Also, my Fanatec GT3 is equally as satisfying. No problems at all.

Congrats, if I was only playing PS3 and computer simulations this would have been the combination of components that I would have chosen on a average budget. I have had my finger on the trigger of a pair of RSeat EVO3's for a while.

I ended up getting a used VRX for myself instead for around the same money as it would have cost me for 2 Rseats. But I gain a monitor stand so it is a pretty good deal.

Just one question... are you happy you picked the GT2 over the G27?

Never had a G27, so I don't know what I'm missing. The Elite pedals is what drew me to the Fanatec pkg. I got the GT3, not the GT2.

Not really a review per se, but I'm glad to hear everything worked out and you're happy with your RSeat!

It is a really good seat, I have one to, and since I have this combined with a T500Rs I am way more consistant then I was with my playseat and G27....
