supra229, you should be smacked for saying that about the Viper without seeing any laptimes from it. I know for a fact that this Viper GTS-R will be better than the previous. Oreca has been working on this race version for more than 2 years now and they have put so much work into the engine and body work to make it better than the first GTS-R's.

Only problem, Zero, that's not the GTS-R... This car will race in the Speedvision World Challenge, and series similar to it.

Its a good car its just that they're replacing the old viper with it which I am unhappy about as the old one was a classic!

It will always be a classic from now on with the new model coming out. The car is going down in history as one of dominance and power. It is a symbol of American Muscle! You should be happy with the new model coming out because it is the next evolution. BTW what did you think of the new celicas when they first came out. I thought they were ugly but they grew on me. I would never own one, but they look nice.

The guy across the road from my house owns a ceclia! I think they are cool! at first I was a bit unsure but the performance makes up for the looks any way

exactly my point then. The performance of this new Viper is going to make up for the looks until it grows on you. Give it a shot, watch it race, then make you're decision

I saw pictures of this car when it came out and I don't like it the front looks OK but the rest is too square and like a box.

Yeah its a GTS-R Competition Coupe, instead of just GTS-R. Only race teams are allowed to buy them. When you get it the car is in Primer so race teams can put their own race paint job on it. The car is basically race ready. I wouldnt mind PVO putting on a little bit more performance on it if I was going to race one ...

For me the new viper design looks real good. the roadster isnt as nice as the last one, but the coupe, specially the race one, is anoter matter. the thing looks just impressive, chunky and all, but screams power. yes, it's less subtle, but if you want subtlety, maybe you should get back to the 450 hp instead of the 500 it has now
however, I think the car looks real good. in coupe form, even better than the last one.
