RUF R50 Supercar Concept 2004

The R50 was built by RUF as a test prototype for their first true supercar, the CTR3, which was released in 2007.

Like the production CTR3, the R50 is capable of over 220 mph thanks to a power output of around 700 bhp. The R50 is generally known just as the "RUF Supercar Concept", and has only ever been featured in one racing game franchise - Project Gotham Racing.

I personally think it's quite pretty, best seen from the side. What makes it ugly is the godawful taillights and the back grille, they look like cheap 80s aftermarket junk. It looks better now though, so maybe the newer prototype is the way to go 👍
