Hello, looking for a set for the Motorland Driving park for the RUF RGT '00. It's a small and tight technical course so I am not sure how you would setup for that after doing all these Nurburgring settings.

Thank you!

So far this is what i have been able to come up with.

'00 RUF RTG

Parts:
Exhaust: Racing
Racing Chip: Sports
NA Tuning: Stage 3
Tire: R5 front and back
Brakes: Racing
Brake Controller: Equip
Suspension: Racing
Transmission: Full Customize
Clutch: Triple Plate
Flywheel: Racing
Limited-Slip: Full Customize

Tuning:
Driving Aids: None
Weight Balance: None

Brake Balance: F7/R5

Spring Rate: F10.0/R12.0
Ride Height: F55/R60
Shock(Bound): F8/R8
Shock(Rebound): F8/R8
Camber Angle: F2.0/R1.0
Toe Angle: F0/R0
Stabilizers: F6/R7

Gears:
1st: 6.202
2nd: 4.441
3rd: 3.363
4th: 2.695

6th: 1.894
Final: 2.500
Auto: 1

Limited-Slip:
Initial Torque: R10

Deceleration: R20

So far with the gear ratios the way they are I can hit max speed on the small straight in 6th gear and not over rev. The car seems to handle ok in the corners but could be better.

I have gotten a best time of 0'41.101 so far. Any help would be great thanks!

*Edit* 0'39.020 is new best for that set.

I don't have a lot of experience with this car, but I 'm sure I can help ya since nobody else seems to have a setup either. :)

What handling problems do you still have left? Understeer? Oversteer?

If you could describe the cars handling I could instruct you on what to change!

Hey T, here's a wild idea: howbout you learn the track with the car unmodded 1st? You report no weight changes. Should be a snap to set everything back to stock. Then, take it out and practice til you can make it alla the way aroud the track - no mistakes. If your driving is transparent, then you'll have less trouble figuring out what to mod, and how.

No, I have no problem going around the track unmodded but I am not sure how to tune the car. The car goes fine, but their is a slight over steer issue which I am not sure how to correct. I know I can fix it slightly with some throttle control but their must be a way to tune the suspension a little more to help.

When this oversteer happen? Depend on where it happen, try reducing rear stabilizer or reducing front rebound damper.

I know I probably say this a lot, but there are many cars in GT4 which handle beautifully just as they are, and this is one of them. Use the RR weight balance of the car in combination with throttle control to tweak the over / under steer of this beautifully balanced machine instead of messing it up changing it. It is like a dance, and yes, it takes time to learn, but once you've got it, you'll never look back.

Or, if you don't mind changing the handling a lot, and want it to handle more like the Yellowbird, for more of a drifting experience, use 1 grade harder tire on the rear than you have on the front. I keep one of these that way because it is truly a blast to drive with R1s on the back and R2s on the front!

Sure, there are also plenty that handle like complete crap, and those might deserve whatever you do to them to make them handle better, but for great cars like this one, why not just add some power and maybe better tires and have fun?
