For the very few of you that follow Rugby Union and are British (Actually, better make that anyone) http://www.sport.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/rugby_union/lions/ursquad.xml is a link to the list

And here is my rant: -
Can someone explain how even though England has been on relatively poor form recentley their players still manage to fill nearly half the slots? I think it is rediculous. And yet the Grand Slam winning Welsh team has only half as many players included? I won't complain about Ieland having more players aswell because they were at least contending the championship and not the wooden spoon.

What is even worse is that 'the door is open' to Wilkinson if he is proven fit. Wait a minute, this guy hasn't played international rugby for 3 years and yet Colin Charvis is immediatley dismissed because he missed the 6 nations?

But wait I forgot something...Oh yes, the head coach is English! Well now it all makes sense.

[/rant]
Oh and I know Scotland has had only a small selection but they aren't doing well at the moment. Better luck for the future 👍

Since you forced me to come here I'll say this: Mr Woodward wants to go for a team that he knows and that has experience. I think this is a sensible idea.

What I don't think is sensible is taking along a bunch of unfit past-it farts like Neil Back.

Quite yer *****in, it'll only look worse for you when the Lions are getting cained :P :sly:

Bahaha, or it could look worse for me when the good old All Blacks burn and die.

Nah, they All Blacks will win the series, no doubt. It will be tight though, but without Wilkinson, the Lions will be just another team.
