RX-7 drift Eiger Nordwand

Yea from the entry speeds and the way the car handled each corners, it was WAY too smooth to be N1's, therefore it could of only been N2s or 3s.

I think I'm gonna record a video of mine as well. Ferrari 512bb on Eiger Rev with N2s. It was a drifting practice, but I got some insane angle which looked pretty cool. Now I just need to lose the lazyness and record

Hehe wouldn't mind seeing that vid. And to be honest the reason why I drifted so smoothly is because someone asked me how to drift with the g25 so I slowed down my counter steering down and showed how I do it 1st time I got the g25, If I want drift for style I would've been more aggresive with my angle and line, just like my old vids in YouTube.

Yea man, I got you, but I personally am a 6axis guy you know??

I rock it thumb style hahaha

You know... I have a total respect for you guys who drifts in sixaxis and dualshock 3. back in the GT3 era I couldn't figured out how to drift with the damn controller. I'll either counter steer too much or I'll just spin, so respect for all of the drifter who is using controllers XD. Also damn this thread is dead.... it seems there are only 2 drifter left in Gran Turismo 5 prologue, 90 views and only 1 people commented lol.

Could you post the setup for the RX-7 :D?

Looks like it was stock as it was Time Trial i think..

Very good drifting BTW! Makes me wish I had a wheel. One day.
I drift every time i play GT5P... but there never seems to be anyone on drift chat.
Wish there was more people doing it, would love for some sweet drift sessions..

There's always people at the drift chat from xat.com
You are probably going to the old chat. This is the new one..... xat.com/gtdriftcrew

And extreme car, there's a ton of drifters on GT5P. They just need to be found. It seems that every week I find at least one or two more drifters or even old racers that are now trying to drift. I know this guy from my team, he's LR-PR-ProtoX, and he's one fast gripper, fastest on LR I would say, and now he's practicing drifting and he's becoming mad good actually.
It's only a matter of looking for drifters. Go around different forums and even youtube and find them. No offense to GTPlanet, but don't just look for drifters here, GT5P is much bigger than just GTP. :sly:

512 is my favorite drifter. Followed by the 599.

OK... I have tried RX7 drifting for 2 days now... Hate it... Hate the ****ing car... :P

I use ER34 and Ferrari F430
The skyline is a verry nice stable car... And the F430 is increddible for long drifts :)

well at least the car handled better than the fiats and datsuns :sly:.

Wow, really smooth. Im toturing the rotary on Eiger for a week now, luv this car, its very light and the turbo does not kick in like a hammer causing the car to spinoff.
If ill get as half as good as you i'll stuck it on youtube aswell, for now i'm back to wasting some more tyres on that beautifull track ;)

Good drifting. I have been trying to get into GT5P drifting. I really like using the NSX Type R with S1's at the moment. Really managable to get sliding and recover from drifts :)

I think with NSX type R you could even drift with R2 tyres, because of the snap oversteer when you lift off the throttle :dopey:.
