Where´s your money at ?
I think these cars are alike in the driving part. They all feel a bit heavy and they all slide a lot. Tommy Kaira ZZ II has the advantage of 6 gears but the RX-7 (not the LM version) is also very fast. So what do you think ? Comments on driving styles and race winners (variety on the tracks would also be good). If you have another idea for a car to enter this thread go ahead but remember that your suggested car should be similar to these 3 (at least in HP) so we don´t get stuff like "my escudo is faster than that" or "my GT-one corners better than that" k ? One last thing: full tune comparisons would be better but stock comparisons are fine too, or even full tune without the racing mod to leave the RX7 GT-C in equal terms

yeah throw in the 350Z, I run this car against the Tuscan all the time. I feel it will be good for the competition. - D'oh thought this was GT3 - *hits himself on forehead*

if the driver knows what he's doing at all, the ZZII will win. otherwise, the RX-7 and Tuscan are well-matched; slight handling and pickup advantage on the RX-7.

zz II hands down.

The other cars are both good, but the truth is, gt is biased towards eastern cars and the tuscan just cant compete with a modified rx-7.

But, the zz II is above both.

Even sadder is the fact that the zz II is able to keep up with a fully mod. rx-7 (forget about the tuscan)

But if you compare them all at stock, there is no competition.

The ZZ II is better than those two yes, but I don't know about the rx-7 gt-c - with racing mod the tucan gets really light and even when he starts to get all "soap in wet glass" in corners I think it still is more controlable than the rx-7 gt-c that also has that slippery feel yet gets more heavy while turning. Sometimes he just uuuuuuundersteers and when he gets a bit of hoversteer he slides all over the place. The tuscan doesn't understeer as badly, when he does those tight "brake while turning" corners he shows more grip, the front weels grab the road better with some tune up. For the rx-7 gt-c I just can't get a good configuration, maybe it's just me. The car is heavier though, the others rx-7's are lighter than him cause most of them can do the racing mod. The rx-7 type rs (j) '98 lacks only 4 kgm of torque to match the gt-c and corners better without all that drag. Maybe it's a better oponnent - goes to show horsepower isn't the whole deal. More cars anyone?

I'll take the ZZII over them all, then the Tuscan, lastly, the GT-C. I like all the RX-7s but that dreaded road-going GT-C model. 5 gears, 682 hp, and I still feel like I'm going slow for some reason.

I'll take a '96 A-Spec or any of the '98s before the GT-C, that's how much I prefer them over the prize car. But the GT-C LM is another story. I like it.

The Tuscan has the torque to adequately work with only 5 gears. The GT-C doesn't. And the fully-tuned motor sounds great, too! The ZZ II is tricky at first, but I've put up some great times with it. Definately under-rated...a nice look-alike substitute for the McLaren F1.

i dont know about u guys, but i really smoke in rx-7. that car is really, really fast. and i am biased to rx-7s lol, so in my opinion the gt-c rx7 will win

Fast but no control - at least in my case. Are you sure you have tried the zzII properly? He can be faster than those two with little effort. In fact the only reason I placed it in this VS was because VSs with 3 cars are better and I wanted to see if anyone was excentric enough to rate the rx-7 or the tuscan higher than the zzII  .
Just kiddind still I believe the rx-7 to be really heavy while turning. Maybe the tuscan can - for some drivers - be slower but regarding the zzII I have no doubts. Again that´s just me.
Hey welcome to GTPLANET

i love the rx-7, but i find it is very nimble and can handle very well. I am a master at controling cars with high horsepower and rear wheel drive. I found the tuscan to not turn very good, but of course the zzII is racing modified, ie: can change downforce ect
