Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO (PS4/XB1/PC) - Milestone

I had the same issue, to fix it I had go to control options and press F2 twice to start calibrating the wheel.

Theres also the ability to map a gas/brake input, dont map that one, it makes the first half of your gas pedal a brake pedal.

And @JBF77 Be assured they will take your money if you would like to purchase something from Fanatec, they may even have a UK distributor.

I tried this, I'm guessing from the F2 comment you're on PC, but there is a way to calibrate the wheel on PS4, though that didn't help. There was no gas/brake input together that I could find on the PS4 version either, but I did find out that it's not my brake that the game thinks is pressed all the time, it's actually the clutch. any time I click one input it automatically maps the clutch pedal to it, so I clicked on "chat" and it mapped the clutch pedal to that and x, which was chat, to the clutch.

This got it working, though I have to press x for clutch lol. It's weird, because there's nowhere in the game that I can change or calibrate anything about the clutch pedal, and my clutch works flawlessly in my other games, so it's not the pedal itself at fault. Perhaps I was just unlucky and got a bug in my demo.

Anyway, having no clutch is better than not being able to play the demo, and I've gotten to test it out. ffb is really bad IMO. Like, off road driving on The Crew gives better feedback. Also, even though I put the "vibration" all the way to 0, my wheel still makes a buzzing kind of vibration any time there's any feedback going through it. Again, this isn't a hardware issue, as it doesn't do that in Pcars or my other games.

Ignoring the strange buzz like vibration, the other feedback sensations are very flat, and lacking in detail, but other than the ffb, the driving feels alright. I prob won't buy it though, not at least unless I hire it out first and find these strange bugs aren't in the full version.

This buzzing FFB sensation is exactly what I had with the PS4 version and my Fanatec CSW v2. No matter what I tried I couldn't get rid of it and it was just awful. It doesn't happen with the same hardware on either the PC or Xbone demo.

Ah ok guess it's a PS4 demo issue. It feels horrible doesn't it?

So, first impressions.
The only thing i tried so far are time trials. When you start the game you've only got 1 car, the Peugeot 106. If you want other cars, you have to earn money to buy them. But you've also got the opportunity to rent cars for TT (small selection).
The cars i've tried : Peugeot 106, Mini WRC, Renault 5 turbo, Saxo kit car, Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Peugeot 504 Coupe.
The track i've tried : Sweden, Wales, Circuit Trois-Rivières RX, Pikes Peak short.
Pos : Physics and FFB are really nice with TX wheel, nice variety in cars and tracks, fun factor, nice challenge (not easy)
Neg : graphics (X1) and sound not up to par with current gen (PCARS, Forza 6), but it's not that important for me.

Highlights so far :
Wales rally puts a big smile on my face, really good stages on mud with nice rain effects.
Renault 5 turbo on a RX track = big challenge = big fun.

I didn't noticed this buzzing FFB on the full game on X1 with TX.

Just got my email from Game saying my pre order is processing ready for delivery. Optimistically hoping it comes tomorrow, royal mail usually quite good around here so fingers crossed. Working all weekend so tomorrow will be my time to game but I won't get my hopes up too much.

Truly excited for this game now! Can anyone who gets the release version on PS4 and uses a Fanatec wheel please report their findings?

What configurations does the Pikes Peak course have? I see mention of short layouts. Tarmac-only in the base game correct?
The full version and a few short versions but only tarmac.
The old gravel version is a pre-order bonus, but i haven't seen it yet while i did pre-order the game.

Even if you don't buy the pre-order version, is the pre-order content still available as separate paid DLC packs in the store?? Probably won't buy for a while but when I do I definitely want to drive that Pikes Peak gravel version!!

It's not clear for the moment but I think it will be possible. For the pre-order it's unclear as well. Amazon told me the code would be in the box (day 1 édition) while other sites here in France say the code will be send by mail. I decided to pick it up in the store as it is €5,- less than on Amazon.

The short version are there. It's basically the main track cut up in a few pieces.

I don't know I haven't pre-ordered so I'm going there in the hope they have Day One there, I'll just pick up a normal copy if not...

If you're not bothered about a day one edition you can pick a copy up on shopto for £31.
