Anyone up for a quick challenge to see how fast you are??

Rules: Stock S2000 in quick -> time attack mode - bathrust/day - no traffic (so no drafting) - damage full.

no limitation on handling model, input method and aid used, but DO post your handling mode since I will separate them into different rankings.

if the game says your lap is invalid because of cutting, don't post it, be honest. :)

Lemme kick start it:

Elite:
1. JJ72 - 2:25.987
2. haehre - 2.33.900

It's still cool to have a thread about it though. Maybe you can find some more Autolog friends because of the thread. I'll throw a lap in later.

Interesting to see if Aids improve your lap time.

Anyone fancy trying that for me?

autolog does have its limitation, it's not exactly like a leaderboard, for example you can't sort lap records per class. So post away!

Man, I need some more practise. I managed about 2:38 I think. I didn't look too closely, it was depressing. :P

Haven't driven on Mount Panorama before, but this was the best I could do. 2.33.900. I'll edit this post if I decide to give it another try. This is elite mode, no assists, manual. full damage. blah blah blah... ;)

I recorded the lap.

I could rock a pretty fast lap around that.

that looks like a pretty fast lap, I don't think I should be 8 sec ahead at all. I take it this is on PC? Gonna double check and see if I made any mistake with the time.

That was PC, yes. It's a little hard to judge by looking at a video without feeling it in your hands in Shift 2 because the tire squeal is hardly audible. It wasn't the end all of hotlaps by any means, but it was solid. I can see myself able to go a second faster, maybe even one and a half if I get my wheel and pedals dialed in just right and acquaint myself with the track some more, but a stock untouched S2000 hasn't got eight more seconds in it. Not on the PC anyway.
