Once upon a time...

I was in this drag lobby, using my usual car (900Bhp Saleen S7). Now, I make no bones about it, it's total novice tuning; the point is, whenever I race other S7s it's usually pretty even. However, one guy absolutely blew everyone else apart in his Saleen.

...ok, now that the excellent story is over...

How on earth do you get a Saleen to 'fly' off the line, but still easily reach a top speed of way over 220mph. I am a complete dunce tuner, any simple advice/guidance will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Stretch 5th and 6th gears out, without stretching out the final gear too much. Your rpm might drop into mid rpm range while going through your top few gears, but you might manage to keep your low speed acceleration in your lower gears.

Asinine question: By 'stretch' do you mean slide to the left or right?

None of this is working....:(

Left. Longer Gear. Lower Number.

Thanking you. :)👍

EDIT: Nope, still a roaring failure. :(

Maybe I should explain in more generic terms; I need a decent tune for my S7 for Drag-Racing on the TG straight.
