After taking a break last year in favor of their own D23 event, both Marvel and Disney are confirmed to be at the hollowed Hall H to pepper the fans with much joy and accolades with news tidbits about their upcoming films.

Expect big news out of Marvel about Iron Man 3 even though production began only weeks ago, while Disney is expected to roll out Wreck-it-Ralph, Oz: The Great and Powerful, and quite possibly The Lone Ranger.

Warner Bros. also reserved a three hour block in the hall as they could showcase Peter Jackson's, The Hobbit, Zachery Snyder's Man of Steel(The new Superman film in case you didn't get the memo), and Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim. There should be no mention of Christopher Nolan or Batman at the block.

Sony is also putting out a spread if rumors are confirmed. With films like Total Recall, Premium Rush and Will Smith's After Earth, the possibilities are endless for Sony this year. Expect no talk about Spider-man as The Amazing Spider-man releases July 3.

Summit's last, THANK BLOODY GOD, Twilight film will also be featured in Hall H as the franchise has never missed a show, and Lionsgate is bringing out The Expendables 2 for the boys.

The bad news then?

Universal may decide to skip Comic Con this year. If they don't, a few updates could include Dark Horse Comic property R.I.P.D., but they could easily draw a crowd with The Borne Legacy and 47 Ronin.

Fox and Paramount have decided to skip this year, both for different reasons. Fox doesn't have any genre-centric movies that they could talk about.

Paramount, on the other hand, is simply disappointing fans by withholding big movies such as the now delayed G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Brad Pitt's World War Z, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Jack Reacher starring Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams Star Trek 2.

SDCC is expected to exceed 130,000 attendees.

I live in San Diego where comic con is being held. I went to it a few year backs. Wasnt really crowded, I even got the tickets at the front door. Now its just blown up like crazy, tickets get sold out sooo quickly. Def worth it to go at least once. Wasnt my cup of tea. If anyone is going this year and needs any information on how to travel there or good places to see/eat let me know Ill help you out. Its chaos in downtown.

Marvel's 2014 Movie Leaked?

Rumors abound as Comic Con weekend approaches with a big rumor out of the Marvel Studios camp. Latino Review, going as far as saying that it is all but confirmed at this point, has revealed that Marvel's final Phase 2(that will ultimately lead up to Avengers 2) movie that will be released in 2014 will be...

Guardians of the Galaxy!

For those who don't know who what that is, think Green Lantern plus all the time travel and dimension travel, in a nutshell for now. We have two years to educate ourselves on the comic as of now.

This will also mark the second appearance of Thantos if the Latino Review article is to be believed.

This will round out the Phase two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe(capping it with the release of The Avengers 2 in 2015) in one possible order: Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy. The Hulk gets the shaft.
