San Marino GP

I am very excited to see the new F2003-GA. Do you guys think its going to be significantly faster?

I kind of think there will be some major problems with it.

EDIT: I just read on www.F1.com that the F2003 wont be unleashed until the Spanish GP!

Lets hear your predictions.

I have a feeling that its not going to be another average GP. I expect wacky results like the last 3 GP's.

Kimi will be right up there as usual.

I hope Ferrari doesnt just dominate the rest of the season from now on, though:(

Well at the moment, Ferrari are declining to run the F2003-GA at Imola. They've been having trouble with it in testing this week.

Hopefully we'll get a clean race this time to see where everyone's sitting - I'm still not sure where everyone's standing at the moment. I'm not sure if McLaren are square with Ferrari (I'm inclined to think Ferrari are still slightly quicker and have just been unlucky so faor), although they're both better than Williams, and I have no idea about how the midfield lies - I'd like to figure out where Jaguar actually lie compared to BAR, Renault and Sauber, and where Jordan actually are (I think Fisi's excellent wet weather skills and the good Bridgestone wets gave Brazil's result rather than any sudden leap in Jordan performance).

I agree entirely.

I think that the MP4/17D is perhaps two or three tenths slower a lap, given equal fuel and equal drivers. I think (or is that 'hope', I'm not sure) that the MP4/18A will be quicker than the F2002, and possibly quicker than the F2003-GA. I can't see why McLaren would delay it this long unless it were really special.

Of the rest, I think that Williams head Renault, but not by as much as last year, although they've apparently had another encouraging test. I think that BAR have come a long way and are probably able to mix it with Sauber, reliability permitting.

Toyota are here in the middle somewhere. I bet they're REALLY regretting changing both drivers now. Da Matta: what a disappointment!

Jordan and Jaguar are for me perhaps even. Both are troubled teams, and you have to say that the Jordan management are more able to haul themselves out of the mire than the Ford management, even though everyone reckons John Hogan to be something of a genius.

Minardi? Death throes.

If the F2003 comes out, then I think Ferrari will come out on top this time. I actually do think Ferrari hasn't been managing so far because they've been experiencing some bad luck. I mean, we all KNOW schumacher is good (As little as we want him to win ;) ).

McLaren says they havn't released their new car yet because they believe it's still competitive. When the F2003 comes out, it might just give them that little push to release their car. (Which I personally can't wait to see if it lives up to my expectations or not.)

I have to admit, Kimi has proven me wrong. I was surprised that he scored so high the first race, and even more so, the way he's been maintaining his lead. Hopefully he'll do well this time, but I'm still a Coulthard fan ;)

I think it's going to turn out something like this:

1. M. Schumacher (if they have the F2003, I've been too busy to keep up with my F1 lately.)
2. D. Coulthard
3. R. Barrichello
4. Kimi
5. Montoyo
6. Alonso
7. R. Schumacher

Okay, there's been a lot of discussion about how excellent and awesome and how good the F2003 is going to be, but my prediction stands firm: Kimi will win the 2003 Drivers Championship, followed by Coulthard and then TGF.

Predictions for San Marino:
Kimi;
TGF;
Barrichello;
Webber;
Alonso.

I hope the championship this year continues in the same way as it has been so far..
It's so much more enjoyable to watch..

I really do hope Coulthard gets a good result this year i think he's due a break :)

BTW has anyone heard anything more on the results for the Brazilian GP.?

I think Mclaren will argue the point that the Jordan car caught fire soon after the red flag..
If the race had went on he would have not finnished anyways..and the win would go back to Kimi..Just my thoughts...:)

Well the rules are quite specific, in the way that the race result is called in the event of it being stopped early. They wouldn't have a leg to stand on with Fisi's fire, because literally anything could be classified as a 'what if'. Also, Jordan would counter-claim that the fire was related to the car sitting in the pits post red flag.

Yep, definitely. And then McLaren would throw some wierd counter-claim back, then Jordan would claim this, or that, and you get the idea. So the results should have stayed as they were, at least Webber got some points.
