Saturday Night 1,600 Miles Classic Sports Car Series, Next Race 11/23, 8. Road Atlanta 195 (Final) , Open 7pm, Qualifying 8pm, Race 8:30pm Eastern USOpen

If Gran Turismo gave us more than just the classic Alfa DTM car I would consider. Also classic cars being not regularly in the Used or Legend dealers makes doing classic events for specific class and eras problematic. I very much like to a Group C series but, not everyone owns these cars.

So if I do something like a one-make series. It will have something in Brand Central that is not a invitation car. That being said I tried a one-make series last fall like fastone371 suggested with a different car every event and it didn't seem draw much attention.

And I really wanted to do that Prius race but, wasn't available that night to make it. I find the Prius performance capables impressive how little HP it has.
These were the cars that were in the DTM legends league I was in and they setup a weight, power & PP limit.

The racing was good. If you ever want the details of this or the Mazda Cup I can get them to you.

You didn’t miss much it was basically pin the throttle and use the 1-2 cars outside of you to make the turn. Or just dive bomb your way into the car 3 seconds ahead of you. As a driver that prides myself on keeping my S SR rating it was complete hell I only did the 1 race instead of trying to improve my points in a later round.
I still wanted to run that Prius race. Especially with it being at Laguna Sega. But yeah I not surprised you had a bad experience with it. Unfortunately the online championships seem to attract a lot of garbage players. I expect every other 2 out 3 races to be trashy. I almost never run the daily races anymore. Because they don't pay enough for me to want to deal with all the trash. The main reason I still do the online Championships is because of the bonus championship payout system. Try the group I sometime run with on Wednesdays Nights. It's more casual than my league style. But they race a good variety of stuff in a better atmosphere. DusanMandic9 and Michel-QC_21 both race with them too.

Hey guys reminder no race tomorrow night. We are off US Memorial Day weekend one of the best weekends for profesional motorsports. Only 8 days until our No BOP Special at Sainte-Croix A and 15 days until the 2nd Annual 2 Hours of Le Mans. I myself have prioritized my focus on our Le Mans race being both my favorite race track and a high payout points race.

I’ve noticed that most leagues race weeknights unfortunately I travel during the week for work. And remote play is too laggy to do much of anything. So sadly I missed all the Wednesday championship rounds.

I haven’t done much with the dailies lately because they do tend to be dirtier racing for me lately and I have been doing more practice for this and the other league I raced in. We one the team and driver’s championship in the Gr3 Renault.

It's a just offer. If you can't you can't. If your at interested look for Wednesday Night Racing. Yes real shocking name I knew. My weeks change at lot I have pretty poor attendance. The host lives in Central Time and hosts a bit later than I do.

Out of curiosity my I ask what you do for work? I admittedly do nothing because of health issues. So whatever you is probably more thrilling.

Alright then here's my thoughts from suggestions so far. As a very long time Gran Turismo Player. I often like to revive events of Gran Turismo's past. One I have been thinking about reviving for sometime now with some modifications is the 1,000 Miles classic car series from Gran Turismo 4 European event section. The series was 4 long endurance races at different European race tracks. Despite being the European section original series allowed production only cars from any country 1970 and older. This would allow me to run a historic car eventvwith a wide number of entries. So everyone should be able to find a car. I would have to a Performance Points cap to keep a large number of competitive cars. And decide a cutoff year for the series among other details.

I get a week off about once every 6 weeks so my next week should be the first full week of June. If I’m free I’ll definitely look into it. Are they on here or a different website/app?

My company is a 3PL specializing in frozen/refrigerated foods. When a building gets their warehouse management system changed over the the company’s system I go and train either Management, Warehouse, Inventory or Office TMs on how to use it. Then after they go live with it I am around for a few weeks to assist as they get used to it.

I like this idea, probably as long as the suspension can be improved, not a huge fan of the boat like swaying. I do enjoy turning non-race cars into race cars.

Both you can find them on GT Planet. There's also has a website for the league. Which I've yet to visit it. And there is PSN Group Chat. They're where I got the idea to make one this league.

On another note what do you think what do you think of my Fall League idea?

Memorial Day greetings everyone. Sorry for the generic greetings. I'm not sure what the appropriate greeting is for Memorial Day. It's a day of remembering lost service members. That is used for picnics, vacations, and other fun activities.

Anyways only 5 days until our No BOP Double Header Special at St Croix A. And 12 days until our Le Mans race. Let's focus on the closer event. This special will be 2 separate 30 minutes lap races. No qualifying for either race. The grids will be set by random chance.

Practice for before the Gr.3 race will be extended until the traditional 8:30pm race start and will be a mixed practice. Do note though that the time of day and fuel multipler is different between the 2 races. The will be a 30 minute practice between the races. With accurate settings for the Gr.1 race. The Gr.1 race start is estimated to be about 9:40pm. And we should still be finished before our Le Mans.

Looking to participate in the 2 Hours of Le Mans. Does anyone host practice lobbies ever?
Lobby is friends only. Send a friend request to me TheColdWarriors. I host at least a 1 hour practice before qualifying on the day of the race. I don't have a stabile week schedule to host other days. Some of our other members may host there own practices.

Less than 12 hours from this post the lobby will open this pair of No BOP Specials at St. Croix A. Interestingly this layout of this fictional Southern France road circuit finally got an offline event with this latest update. This venue was introduced in GT Sport with mixed reception. I personally like the tracks. Both because I do like to drive them and because they have a very historical vibe to them. From when race tracks made from public roads was a more common practice. Now days it's too inconvenient from some. I personally would love my city to host races. See you soon.

Excited for this race! Put my strategy together and have been clocking some good practice laps. Been away from the game for a few weeks, but this is a great way to get back into it. Not sure how I'll perform, but excited. Didn't do too much tuning for my setup beyond some small changes.

So am I. The Le Mans circuit is my favorite race track. And it has been for some time now. One of the reasons for it being a permanent event on for league. That and the real race being the biggest sports car race of motorsports calendar year.

Too much time driving a straight line with throttle thru firewall at LeMans. If the straights were 1/4 of the length it might be ok. You should really hate it, the only car slower than mine there is yours.

After I saw the lap times being put up at St. Croix by the LM55 I had to give it a try Sunday AM. I entered the custom race I have saved and use for practice and after only 3 laps went 2:31 with it, could probably run in the 2:20's with it after some more laps. I never even tested it at St. Croix assuming it wouldn't have any speed on the straights like when it's set up for BOP. I guess I forgot about the BOP thing.

Just thinking too about how so much of these races are spent lapping alone and how much more fun it is racing wheel to wheel. Maybe running a series using success ballast wouldn't be a bad idea.

Ahh what don't you complain about? Silent Helper is a false title. You choose to switch classes. The Gr.1 class has much more variation between car performance even with BOP applied. So the cars that suit a tracks characteristics will be the dominant cars for that race. So races for the class is more like a Formula 1 race. So no talent isn't always going to be enough to win races. However is does present the opportunity for lesser talented drivers to get race wins at race at tracks that suit their car.

The Gr.3 class is much closer in performance if you want a change too win every race. You always have the opportunity go back and run the last 2 races in Gr.3. As long as you the Porsche you earn points in that class both races.

As of for our Le Mans race with itself. The Le Mans circuit with the chicanes is a much better place for hybrid boost cars that you might think. The current laps record was set by a Toyota TS050. No they don't have speed at the end of straights but, the heavy braking zones provides plenty of opportunity to recharge the hybrid boost to launch off the the corners. The Porsche 919 and the McLaren VGT also can recharge the hybrid boost while on throttle at high speeds.

So are you saying you won the Gr.1 Special without the turbo upgrade? The Porsche 919 doesn't get the 900 hp upgrade. I choose to run it anyways because I spend so much time testing for our Le Mans race. I didn't leave myself enough time to fine tune something else for specials. Same goes for why I used the Porsche for the Gr.3 race. The one ended up being good. Expect for the rear tire wear.

You mean like how Super GT does BOP. I know they use a ballast system for balancing performance. I honestly like the run a Super GT league but, I wouldn't be able run it like that. Since I can't monitor players power and weight. Also with rumors of Motegi in the works for a return. I would very much like to wait. As that would give us 4 race tracks they actually race at.

I'm not sure who was complaining, you said LeMans is the best track, I disagree. We can agree to disagree, unless of course that is complaining in your book, then I recant my statement.

GR3 is more competitive? I beg to differ unless you find it a complaint, again. I won St Crois GR3 by a bigger margin than I did the GR1 class.

I didn't try the LM55 at St Croix because it was so slow on straights and straightline speed plays a role at St. Croix. When I saw how fast it was by another member I ran about 4 laps with it Sunday morning only to discover I would have been better off with the Mazda than the Hyundia. I did have the medium turbo on both the Mazda and the Hyundai.

I think anyone that runs a success ballast league has to run it on the honor system. I think when running a league where you race with the same group every race everyone gets pretty accustomed to where everyone fits in and someone taking advantage of the honor system would likely be discovered.
