Just got back from watching it, holy **** it's amazing. Laughed out loud many times throughout the movie. If you have any thought of taking someone younger than maybe 16 to it, don't.
Once the deformed hot dog makes it back to the supermarket, that's when things really kick off. Also, the meta-humor at the end was hilarious.
10/10 movie

I don't think I would really recommend this one. Outside of the stuff shown in the trailer there aren't a lot of laughs until they really go for broke with the absurdity in the last 20 minutes or so. Until then they seemed pretty happy to rely on a lot of boring ethnic/religious stereotypes that would have at least been good for a few more laughs with even a tiny, little bit of subtlety applied. There's a pretty overt message about tolerance, celebrating differences, and how religion is bad. That's all fine and well I guess, but the movie wasn't nearly as fun as it looked like it was going to be from the trailers. I've enjoyed pretty much all the other R-rated comedies with Rogen and his crew, but this one just didn't really work for me.

@kolio this is similar to what I would say. @Doog, might want to keep a note on this.

If you have a sick and questionable sense of humor, go watch it. It's so horribly cringey and full of references you'll eventually stop trying to make sense of it all and just mindlessly watch it. If you go in just because you saw it was a cartoon animation and to follow the general flow of kid friendly, you're in for quite the big shock within the first 5 minutes and especially the last 20 minutes.

This movie is not for kids. Parents have taken them to see it- what they keep missing is that rated R logo. I only went to see this as a friend wanted to go see it- it was his birthday present and farewell for a while. I wouldn't have taken the time to see it my own self.
