Saving Games

It seems I can only save one GT3 game per memory Card.  Is this right or am I doing something wrong?  We have a few people in my house that want to play their own game but it seems to auto load from the card and doesn't give the option to save to a different game.  Those 8meg cards aren't cheep and it doesn't make sence that I would have to buy two more memory cards just to save different games.  Could someone confirm or deny this?

I'm sorry to say it's true, only 1 save per memory card.
I have a solution for myself though. I can transfer the game save to the PC, then start another game, save that to the PC also, Later I can transfer whichever game save I want, back to the memory card  :)

PS, In the US you will need whats called a Shark- Port, here in the UK it's called X-Port, made by Datel, the producers of gameshark/ action replay

He`s right Morphh. You can`t put two saves of the same game on 1 card it will just overwrite a current. The sharkport or xport are the very best deal.

Dang!  That's BS!!  What a scam!!!  So I got to spend an additional $70 so my wife and brother can play this one game...  I feel like Ive been ripped off!  You buy a game expecting to be able to have your family play it and it's a one person deal.  WHO CAN I EMAIL!!!  I want to vent my frustration to Sony and the makers of GT3 for Scamming households into buy un-needed memory cards.

I know it man.$30.00 a pop just aint cheap enough.Did you notice that since the ps2 card is so high now the ps1 cards are only about $8.00.
Most all games i`ve played are like this though. The deal that lets you save to your pc is the best deal by far.

Can you buy and save GT3 to a 1meg PS 1 memory card?  My PC is not even close to my PS.  Sounds like you have to run cable.  What type of cable is need to do this?

Hi, I'm not sure about the answer to your last question Morphh.
My PC is on a table with wheels though, to connect everything together PS2, PC, TV  I have to move the PC near the TV.
This Shark Port/ X-Port thing is just for transfering saves to the PC, so you can exchange saves with others.
Cost me £30 not sure what it is in $, all cables supplied.
PS no you can't put PS2 saves on a normal psx memory card or the other way round :(

I totally agree with Morphh. The reason I bought the PS2 was to play GT3!! Now I discover that I can only store one 100K game on a 8MB cartridge!! It's obvious to me that developers talented enough to write something like GT3 should be able to handle saving multiple games; therefore it must be SONY dictating this behaviour. I sent some email using the www.scea.com site. I doubt I'll hear anything back but it did make me feel slightly better.
