Well, me and my dad will be installing our new Dell in a couple of minutes. This will be my last post on this pc, that I have been useing for 5 years. I won't be here for awail, untill we get everything loaded onto the new pc. So, this is MazKid, one last time, signing off of this slow crapper.

:( Bye Presario, you served me good, but now, you are outdated, so RIP Compaq. :(

In with the Dell! :D

My dad just decided to take a 5-10 min nap, so I'm still here, but not for long. ;)

I'm back! It took 15 min to get the new pc in, and then we had to install AOL and update to 7.0, and I'm on now.

Congrats on the Dell!! :)
They have the best service and support of all the PC companies out there.
Hey, did you get an Optical Mouse? :)

The mouse with the scoller thing? That's the one I got. so easy to use. It was a $10 upgrade over the other one.

Congratulations on your new Dell! I've been really happy with mine, and I've had it for a few years.

No, Tom's talking about an optical mouse (without a ball). Does yours have a red glow under it? I've got one...and I don't know how I lived without it! :)

ohh, no that's not the mouse we got. I don't think we could get it. At school, the IMacs have those mouses, and while it's cool to point it at the wall while your teacher is doing an overhead thing, I really don't notice much difference. We could have gotten a wireless mouse, but we don't need that.

It's so great to have sound on the computer again!

Dells are the best. Nice purchase.

I've got an Optical Intellimouse. It's the white and silver Microsoft mouse. I've also got the Logitech 'Cordless Freedom Pro'. It's a cordless keyboard and mouse combination, and the mouse is optical. Very pimpy. Oh, and it's black too (:

I use it at work, because I like my ergonomic Microsoft Natural Pro keyboard and the shape/feel of the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical mouse at home.

I wish Apple would get their head out of their butt and make a rechargable cordless optical mouse that actually feels good in a human hand. The keyboard could be firewire or something, and have a cradle for the mouse to recharge on. It would be awsome! And it's something I think Apple could pull of right now. Their all about "look ma`, no wires!", and ease of use. And the coolness factor would be way up there.

Dell does offer the Intellimouse (optical), and I agree with Jordan that I don't know how I lived without one. I had the Intellimouse Explorer, but when my Wheel died (too much gaming I suppose... :( ) I bought the Logitech Dual Optical. Double your lasers, double your fun. ;)
It's a little smoother (USB anyway) but the big difference is in the fact that you'll never have to clean it. :D
But just having that sweet, sweet Pentium Power must be Nice.... :D

I just checked, and the optical mouse is not an option. Ohh well, this mouse is fine.
