Saying I have insufficient hard disk space

Well I have been playing GT5 for about a week now.

But I don't have internet. Went to my buddies house today and hooked up my PS3 for the first time to the interwebs. It downloaded a system update, and then downloaded a GT5 update. I then installed GT5 into my hard drive to shorten loading times.

Well then starts the problem. Now it is saying I have insufficient hard disk space. WTF??!! I have 300 GB Left of open space.

So I did a quick Format of my hard disk since I wasn't very far in the game and I kinda wanted to start over anyways, and now it works great.

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Probably was a format issue for with the hardrive

There were 2 threads on this. It's caused by V1.05 update without installed data. The solution is to delete game data (not your save data), install game, then update to V1.05.
