At the Geneva Motor Show 2002, Peugeot had two beautiful concept cars, the RC, one of which was powered by a diesel HDI. Curiously, Espera promotion 2002-2003 students presented a prototype containing specifications and a general line very close: the GT-HDI.

Echoing a jumble of elements drawn in the Peugeot range (206 CC, 307 and 607), this 950 kg two-seater sports coupe is powered by a 146 BHP diesel 2.2-liter HDI with a 5-speed manual gearbox from a Peugeot 607. The engine is placed in the rear center to provide a better distribution of the masses. The rear suspension is from the 607, while front we find springs and dampers short Koni. The tubular chassis is specific to the GT-HDI and ensures the necessary rigidity to this type of vehicle. The body, entirely original, is made of polyester. In the puzzle game, we can see the front and rear lights from a 307, while the windshield is from a 206 CC.

I've looked more into it and it actually means that the frame is wrapped by a polyester body.
