In this competition, we vote keeping in mind, the Rules and the Theme (If someone didn't follow the rules/ theme don't vote for them). Also we do not vote for our own Entry.

Scenery Competition IV - Tie-Breaker Poll​

(Theme chosen by: Swiss Legend)​

Theme: Staring at the Sun (This week I want to see the sun, high in the sky, sunset, doesn't matter, any track. Any editing tools may be used.)
Cars: Open (Car if you want, but Modern Looking)
Tracks: Open/ Any Fitting the Theme
PhotoTravel: Okay (if you must)​

• Entry must be marked 'Final Entry' in Red Text.
• Submit only 1 Entry, must be your own work and must not appear in any other Competition.
• All Elements of your Entry, must come from GT4.
• This is a Free-Edit Artistic Competition, meaning you may use any photo manipulation software at your disposal..
• You may Change your Entry once, please clearly indicate why your entry was changed.
• Please do not: ask others to Vote for your Entry, try to sway the poll, and do not vote for youself.
• Feel free to PM me, with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

The Tie-Breaker Poll will last 5 days

Normally I would have used the total votes as the Tie breaker, but NTX's thumbnail died right at the beginning of the first poll (and he still made the cut).

I think this comp has gone on long enough. It started 49 days ago. I really think that the next ones should last only as long as the other comps. I don't think it really matters how long it's open. People will enter if they like the theme. Time won't make them enter. I just had to voice my opinion.

btw NTX entry doesn't show up....for me at least

okay, I guess Swiss wins. Somehow my imageshack account got wiped, 300+ images, poof gone, but the account still exists, puzzling....

Also, due to my increasingly busy schedule (amongst other reasons), SC will die with SC-IV, unless someone wants to take-over and run with it.

I'm sure I'll still be lurking from time to time on GTP, but I don't expect to be too active, just not enough time.

Were you saving the pictures to your comp then uploading them to imageshack yourself? Most everyone here does that already in their entry post, so all you have to do is quote them to get the code.

Yeah, every damn one (check-out my gallery, only your cached images will show up). I may in the future, re-u/l them all to a different hosting site, and re-construct my gallery, but probably not until fall. Between my 6 day/wk 2nd shift job, and picking up side concrete gigs during the day, my time is stretching pretty thin this summer.

Heck no, that would be far too complicated; NTX's thumb died but his full-size worked, so to get the poll going, I made a thumbnail from the full version, little did I know that my imageshack would get hosed.

well GrumpE, when you do go to re u/l them use photobucket or flickr. I have never had problems with either. Conveniently the 2 times I used imageshack, both times my shots screwed up. I know other people have not had any problems though, so go figure.

So do you people think we should keep this comp going???
