For school I have to write about someone "great". The only problem is I have no clue as to whom I should chose. I've been stuck on this topic for ages and I can't decide on a person. Could I get some help?

1 guy comes to mind.

Commander Ernest E. Evans.

Took 1 destroyer against the Yamato and its escorts. He was great.

But for someone you might know about yeh do Shelby.

If you want something easy then do Ayrton Senna. Its really easy to find out all of the information about him, just watch the film.

+1. I did a report on Ayrton a few weeks ago. I enjoyed researching him.

+1000000 I could write a book about Ayrton Senna

Another thing is write about someone that interests you. Don't do something that doesn't because you'll just get fed up. For example I would write about Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United football club because he interests me.

Me.

If nothing else it'll confuse the crap out of your teachers.

Well, being on GTPlanet there are two obvious ones;

Kazunori Yamauchi and also Jordan, the site founder (Don't know your full name )

Me.

Good shout, Famine too. :D

A report on Yamauchi-san would be interesting and quite refreshing for your teacher.

If none of these, maybe someone in DTM?

Carrol Shelby would be a good project 👍
The palaeontologist in me is suggesting Mary Anning, Edward Drinker Cope (and)/or Othniel Charles Marsh, or Alan Grant :sly: 👍

This, for a laugh.

Does it have to be about the person or their achievements? Because plenty of people have done great work but aren't necessary great people.

Our teacher said; "They have to people we chose that we think are great for a reason".

Whatever that meant. :dopey:

Edit: I think it's a "whatever floats your boat thing" :indiff:.
