Schwarzwald League Tires

Bob is losing this race again in a 690HP C63 AMG. The car has plenty of power but the tires seem to wear out.

I started with sport soft. I pitted at lap 3 but by the end of the race the tires were worn again. (light blue tires--black bars on top--more so with the bottom)

I tried sport hard but the tires wore out too.

What's up with this race?

Lol does that mean the tires are worn out?

I've been racing like that for days.

I don't know what it means. I assumed since they change color from dark blue to light blue and then it seems they are decreasing in level that the tires were wearing out.

Bob is having a hard time keeping the car under control at that point.

I think colour is temperature. Dark blue is cold. Light blue is optimal. Red (when you spin) is hot. The amount of wear is the black bit. A RWD car could benefit from hard at the back and medium/soft at the front, or some other combination of harder drive wheels/softer steering wheels (better steering while lasting longer)

Logically, softer tires in the front than in the end on a RWD should increase oversteer.

How much of the bar is blue vs black? If the bar is more than 1/4 blue then your tires are fine.

Thanks, I thought if it was 1/2 black it meant your traction was reduced by half. Does traction decrease progressively with wear?

I'm watching BOB run the Super GT race in the Extreme series. #$#$ this a long race. Three races, nearly an hour each. I just want the prize car.

For the Schwarzwald I think I just need a more powerful car. I'll keep trying to win the SLS in the AMD special events.

Good idea, because, if my memory is ok, with the (stock) SLS, my Bob won both races at the first try
