scion xion aklsdjaklsjd WTF?

this may have already been talked about before but what the hell is this thing? is it actually its own company? it looks like its made by matchbox. what motor does it have in it? is it U.S. or other? and now i notice theyre making regular cars too. wtf?

Scion's made by Toyota. Toyota thought it was getting to be too much of an old person's car, so they put out scion to attract younger buyers. So far, the motors all look like the toyota inline 4's. The introduction of scion is also supposed to be the exit of the celica, though the engine's staying on in scions I think.

Yeah - Toyota's creating Scion now much like they created Lexus fifteen years ago. Simply an offshoot brand to appeal to a different segment of the population. Originally Scion was sold only in California, then it began to move east across the southwest (after a stop in Washington state). It skipped the southeast and debuted in New England next, then went nationwide.

If I was absolutely forced to have a Scion (and the option to kill myself was not available), I would definitely pick the tC. It looks like the most 'me' Scion out of the bundle.
