Screen Capture Software

Anyone know any good apps for screen captures? I'm tired of Prt Scrn and going to paint or even worse adobe to save it.

are you having probs with adobe photoshop?

what are you trying to do?...it wont capture a still from a dvd or video...but the dvd software you have will do that...

I mean a program that I can just push a hot key (ex. F2 and it takes a SS and saves it to a file for me already). I use to have one a long time ago but I forgot the name of it and lost the floppy for it

umm, you should be able to just use a prog that uses your monitor t display the video, then hit Print Screen, Ctrl+C, and paste it into your digital photograph editing software (that's how I would do it).

yea but that takes to long...especially on my slow computer. I just downloaded SnagIt! and it works pretty well.

you must have a very slow computer...even on a pentium 200 this should happen instantly...

I meant opening Adobe, I can't even read the words sometimes when I save it from MSPaint. but SnagIt! works great for what I want it to do
