I can't even get this game to run on my pc.

Spent ages in anticipation waiting for it to install and the game says my brand new disk is a 'backup copy'.

There's some instructions about messing with the settings on your dvd drive which don't describe anything I can see on my windows 7 pc.

The securom download is utterly opaque and I'd consider myself to be a reasonable pc user.

The codemasters webpage is of flipping facebook and is the next worst thing to useless.

0/10 codemasters, so far.

Can anyone give me 1 good reason why I shouldn't return this pile of overprotected crap tomorrow?

I don't think you read my post. I'm passing it up because thanks to the draconian copy protection, it won't play on my pc.

Get the PS3 version, never have to worry about FPS lag, hackers ect.

I think you should return it (even though I thought open software was void) then buy the PS3 version.................or exchange for it. The game is very good and after you take a breather and perhaps play it one day, you will enjoy yourself.

*I have no idea about PC based games so I can't help in that area*

Return it, get dirt 2, its a far better game, on ps3 it is anyway
