Though this car may look like the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina road model, don't be fooled - this is a whole different beast entirely. Unlike the P4/5, This car is not officially recognized by Ferrari, and is instead under the ownership of James Glickenhaus' own marque - SCG (Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus).
As the Enzo did not officially go racing (the closest that we got was Maserati's MC12, but that has an overall larger body package compared to the Enzo), the P4/5's bodyshell was re-designed to fit onto the chassis of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia. The car was worked to the F430's GT2 spec, using the same downsized 4-litre naturally-aspirated V8 which produced 440 BHP and was entered into the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hour event where The car finished second in the GT2 class, but that wasn't enough for James Glickenhaus.
The following year, the P4/5 Competizione had been fitted with a KERS hybrid system, adding a further 50 horsepower while the system was active. The car won its class despite a KERS failure and a fire in the pits.
Even though James had finished what he had set out to do, he didn't want to have the car to simply remain as a display piece. Thus, he had the car converted to be street-legal, allowing him to drive it on the road with the other cars in his collection.
