Is this you driving or Loeb? Because I don't see him as a ghost in the front. If you did then it's very good. I can't even get Bronze on this one. Any tips?
ehh...nevermind. Replays don't show Loeb as a ghost. Nice driving. I need to improve my time.

You have to go really slow to go fast. Rally to me was always about going sideways fast. In this game you have to go straight slow to be fast. this challenge is the least challenging out of them all. slow right down, easy on the throttle, and keep your rear end inline. the slower you go, the faster your time.

Great video, I ran a 4:05.002 for the challenge but i've been running time trials in the Citroen and pulling in 3:58 (can get 3:56ish but it's rough).

When you were racing you eventually caught up to Loeb's ghost car? I cannot even get close to him, he gets further and further away. With your 4:02 time I assumed you passed him. His time was a few seconds slower in the sample video.

Thanks man, had quite a few restarts before I got familiar with the track...and then it's all about subtle throttle control/braking (especially the downhill bit) & avoiding touching any barriers (which caused so much grief initially). It's a nice rally track, good view too:tup:

I managed to snag a 4:06 something by turning everything
off,
and putting ABS to 7. Then treat the rest like a regular
race track. Braking late like taught in the License tests.

Hi, nice time man. You must have driven so neatly that traction control do not kick in much & sucked all drive & power from the car. I had TC on 1 initially but found power was limited whenever I really needed car to jump out of corners quickly, eventually turned TC off....then again, I was probably sliding too much & triggering the TC too often.

Yeah, treat it like it's on tarmac...too much sliding = too much time spent at corner.

I never had any TCS problems in GT4. I hit a corner aggressively and get bogged down. Not fun. =[

Hi there, thanks. Yeah TCS in GT5 works really efficiently, definately have off as it is very distracting when the throttle is at 100% & you want out of the corner, but the car struggles & bogs. If assist is needed, I found the Skid Recovery Force more useful and drive-friendly.

Yeah, passing ghost is definite Gold time....don't have to though, but I guess passing Sebastien Loeb is worth it for bragging rights/interweb nod/kudos.

Thought i'll post my video of this I know i know this is Subaru with 489bhp. Did the track in 3.46.120 in this video, later that day i did it in 3.43,7 : /

Also, if someone'd like i can post myself driving the very same track with stock C4 WRC but with some customised settings they're no secret tho. With C4 my fastest time is 3.51,9
