Notice is a little tight tbh:guilty: but will try the semi tuning is down to us being honest or is that something that can be setup.:dunce:

@ Toad:sly::sly:

Sifted through all my notes and found the times for Grand Valley East, SM tyres, with original suspension:

135 - 1.12.069
Z34 - 1.11.866
XK - 1.11.635
Sciroc - 1.11.868
86 - 1.12.126
RX-8 - 1.12.061
G35 - 1.12.068
Mustang - 1.12.043
TT - 1.12.326
Integra - 1.11.803

The Integra has a huge power/weight ratio, but handles it very nicely. The Mustang is...stubborn, so I gave it massive power to make up for that.

The Evora, Camaro, Chally and Clio did very low 1.12s, I remember. The fat yanks are extremely well behaved, you don't notice their weight in the corners.

It's short notice, but early days, there'll be more to come later on. Remember, car choice on the night is free, no need to stick to the one. Recommend you bring a good range to try. Races will be 10 mins or so.

Hi all.

I would like to join but I'll only be available at least at 21:30 GMT.

At that time will the lounge still be open?

Psn : mikeb-pt

I think i live in the GMT+1 timezone, so the room is gonna be open till late hours... Can i join to get to know some members of GTP ? Gotta race GTHQ-race first, wich finishes @ 22.00h (GMT 21.00h)

thanks
Dries

Tyrrell i even purchased a couple of cars yesterday for your gig tonight. But after lastnight and hours of replay watching today i just cant face a GT5 track right now. I do plan to continue to support what comes of this as and when motivation returns mate.:guilty:

No worries JB, I know the feeling. Your support is appreciated, and rest assured, there'll be plenty more of this kind of thing to come.

I already have.

Correction: I typod it. Some poor sod has gotten an FR from a fat scotsman about a series on a game he's probably never played.

I should really join more series which use sports tyres. I like racing on them a lot more than slicks.

Jag seemed like a quick car.👍 clio was a bit of a struggle and hard to control but had pace

Thanks to all who made it, good runs. Definitely more to come soon, although this is actually one category out of four...

The Clio is actually quite nice, I set mine up in a similar way to a mid engined 4WD car, with much greater front camber than rear.

The 135 seemed a favourite with many. Probably the best car in every respect except straight line speed.

All these cars could be very well suited to a Nurburgring enduro, being easy on tyres...

Really enjoyed my few first races with you guys, good clean races is what I look for and I found them.

As for car selection, I went for the bmw as it's really balanced and looks and sounds good too.

I'm nowhere near a fast driver but I found myself really left behind on some tracks mainly due to my lack of knowledge of the circuit and the straight line disadvantage of the car.

But as I became more familiar with the car itself I managed to have some good clean runs.

All in all a good night racing.

In future events I will truly try to be present.

Glad you had fun Miguel - there's a car for everyone. This formula is intended for drivers of all skill levels. There's no need to be a tuning expert (I'm certainly not!).

Got a lot of test work to do, I'll let everyone know of the next event.
