SERIOUS Glitch with remote racing

Hi,

Don't know if any one else has had this but my drivers do not seem to be up dating it says on my log that one of my drivers is now at lvl 5 but i go on to the driver in GT LIFE and try to retrive the credits and xp and it says that my drivers have not taken part in any race.

they seem to be winning little bits of money as well, but it doesn't show up in the old bank. How do we collect this? Do we have to set them offline?

when you go to the driver in the GT LIfe screen where you create them, there is button which if you click you can collect the money and the xp.

One of my Bobs had a similar problem; He had entered a race, that much I knew because he had one of the three yellow lights on (or are they gold? Doesn't matter, not the point), but when I went to collect the reward, nothing happened and I got an error message which was something along the lines of 'could not retrieve driver data'. I tried again after a few minutes and it worked. I guess it's just an internet connectivity issue, one that should resolve itself after a few minutes.

When i tried to collect my cash, it said driver in race, unable to collect. Will try later.

Dont worry. I posted this problem in another thread and figured out the problem.

After you collect your money, you will get all your XP. After that you may notice your driver level not change. Just back out form the driver screen, then back in and all the info should be updated correctly. Then I just backed out and saved.

So far all is well.

yes, if your guy is in a race, you cant recieve credits and all that good stuff. have to wait till its over

Also I want to add something to this.

After you retrieve your money/xp, the game does NOT auto save. So I you take your money and quit the game, you will lose it all. Make sure you save after collecting.

My log said that my 3 Bob's were used in someone elses B-Spec or Remote Race. and with the money and XP, once I collected my Bobs C.Wood and B.Wood they both jumped to like Lv 4 respectively. i don't know if that's the case for everybody though.

Edit: it's worth noting that the person in the log that used it was on my friends list

My brother utilized all my 4 drivers on his races, so they should have gained some cash and experience, but when I entered with my account, I discovered that my drivers wasn't "sharing with friends" and no credits and no experience was gained... how it is possible??

I had the same situation this morning. I didn't have near as many Cr but after I collected my prizes it showed my new total earnings and a leveling up from 21 to 22. I get out of the drivers screen and nothing showed as being there. Not even an hour later.

No big deal in the scheme of things but if this continues for a few more days I won't bother with remote racing anymore.

This has happened to us too. My friend and I started remote racing as soon as we both had patched to 1.06. He had just created a new driver so bob was at level 0. I ran several of the longer races and was pleased to see that evn though the new driver wasn't doing well, he was getting experience point quickly. My friend logged in and collected his progress and he went up to level 7. The next day I logged in and could not see his drivers and all of my drivers were not shared. My b-spec level was still up and the money I had collected was still in my bank, but all of my drivers had reverted to pre remote racing levels. I called my friend and a check of his drivers showed the same thing-- none were shared and his new driver was back to level 0. This has happened at least twice now.

Edit: the players B-spec level seems to be OK. it is the individual Bobs that are getting screwed. Two of my drivers were not shared this morning. all had lost credits and experience from yesterday.

You have to take them off your shared list before you can collect any kind of money or experience points. You basically "cash out" when your done sharing them. I thought it was a little odd at first but its not a glitch.

Edit: On second thought, I read through all the posts and I'm not experiencing any of your guys problems because I only tested Remote Racing for a couple hours and then cashed out. I didn't walk away from it or anything. Maybe it's a daily thing where your drivers get reset back to "not shared" after 24 hours to prevent people from maybe sitting on their playstation all day farming for credits and xp. I could be totally wrong, which I am most of the time, just an idea.
