For me from update 1.09 GT6 is getting worse...
In update 1.09 some strange physics changes were introduced, along with idiotic default camber and even more idiotic 0.60 rear toe setup in standard suspension. This made many cars understeery with tendency to snap oversteer in critical moments. Not to mention the new default suspension alignment is visible in replays, and it ruins them at least for me (live axle mustang with 1.5 rear camber, interesting :) )
Since update 1.12 I can't play with flicker reduction on, because the game isn't smooth anymore with this setting.
I know that I will miss some things introduced in later updates (Nismo GT-R, Midfield Raceway), but honestly I don't care about VGT cars. Most of them are designers wet dreams, rather than actual cars - how many of You would prefer for example Ferrari Testarossa or BMW M3 E30 instead?
Also I'm not fond of Sierra track very much, despite it's length it's pretty boring and monotonic.
I know it's a bit harsh opinion, but I'm getting more and more convinced, that this may be a good step.
What do You think about it?

The update with Sierra ruined GT6 for me, I have so many sound bugs inside an outside lobbies, but I wouldn't remove any updates.

Also as a side note you can have camber adjusted live axles. You have to change the whole axle assembly to adjust it but they do exist.

My problem the updates after 1.08 is they always have this crashing problem when I restart any type of events to career, special, and seasonal events. It's annoying!

If that's something you'd like to do, I think it's a lovely idea :)
After all, we're all here to enjoy ourselves with our racers, yes? Hope you findit enjoyable back at 1.08 ^^
Also I'm sure you'll be able to find a few 1.08 saves on the internet if you'd like to avoid starting again - but sometimes that can be fun too

Oh goodness, poor you :(
Just curious but have you tried deleting the game data and reinstalling it? Sometimes that can help a little!

IKR!

Also no I haven't tried to delete and reinstall. It's because I'm tolerate of the issues, but me and my GT6 are in a love and hate relationship right now! lol

Ah that's fine!
PD are magic in their own way, updates come and go and fix things seemingly at random! Hope it'll fix your issues too :)

Starting this game all over again doesn't seem as good idea, I think I don't have enough motivation to do that. Playing with somebody else's save game is not my type of thing, so i guess I'll just wait for further updates, maybe they'll make things better... I can live without flicker reduction. As for the camber and toe, well we'll see. By the way, don't You think that we should be able to change these settings without fitting fully customizable suspension? IRL in most cars camber and toe is adjustable, at least to some extent. It's just geometry/alignment, nothing more.

Yes, we should be able to change those settings, but they want us to spend our credits. Every now and then I have a car that I want to leave at "stock" settings for various reasons but, like you, the camber/toe settings often drive me batty. So, I purchase the Fully Adjustable Suspension, but then I input the default values for ride height, spring rate, dampers, anti-roll bars and then I make my adjustments to the camber and/or toe settings. I've never had to worry about a lack of credits, so it's ~20,000 credits well spent in my eyes. Good luck! :)

Even if You install fully customizable suspension and make it's setup exactly like default, the car will handle differently. It feels like it isn't put together well, stabilizers are softer, as well as dampers. It just doesn't feel right and is prone to snap oversteer. I've tried and tested this many times.
