All I did was add the "Increase Rigidity" option, set the final drive at 5.500, set the Autoset at 1, change the brake balance to 2/4, set ASM at 0/0, set TCS at 10, and added the Stage 3 turbo (which I only used a couple of times).
Otherwise, I left everything stock and blew right through the Hard events. It only took four tries to win the toughest one - Grand Canyon Reverse.
The Super Evo is definitely the best rally car. If you're still having trouble winning the dirt and snow events, perfect your wall-riding technique: Flick the steering and tap the brake (lightly) to cross the car up as you enter the turns. You want to tag the wall with the rear bumper of the car, which does not give you a five-second penalty. Once you're on the wall, punch it.
(And if you're having trouble with the paved-road events, switch to the car you won the Supercar Festival with, and put R5 tires on it.)
