Setting for undrivible car.....

Wow, I think those are two pretty driveable cars! here are my settings:

Vitz RS - approx 260-290 horsepower, race suspension, transmission, and lightweight, T2 tires:

Springs: 6.0/6.2
Ride Ht: 89/89
Bound: 4/8
Rebound: 5/9
Camber: 3.5/1.0
Toe: +0.5/-0.5
Swaybars: 4/5

Autoset: 25
FD: 4.312
LSD: 10/15/5

That was more than enough to cream the Vitz Pro series.

MS Elise - about 250 hp, race suspension, race LSD, T4s front, T5s rear

Springs: 8.4/7.7
Ride Ht: 80/80
Bound: 7/7
Rebound: 7/7
Camber: 3.0/1.0
Toe: +0/-0
Swaybars: 3/3

Autoset: 24
FD: 4.200
LSD: 10/20/20

I didn't do a lot of suspension sorting on this car. I'm sure it could be dialled in a little better, but it was fun to drive this way, and won the pro Elise Cup.

What are these cars doing that makes you call them "undriveable"?

I'm especially surprised by the Elise being "undriveable"... that car is one of the most fun straight out of the box!

:odd:

i need help with my integra type r 98 spec (J)
i really need some setting for my handling. It SUCKS!!! really bad. Here are the current settings:rolleyes:

Spring rate 5.1kgt/mm 8.5kgt/mm
Ride Height 89 mm 89mm
Shock Absorbers -------
Shock Bound 5 5
Shock Rebound 5 5
Chamber angle 2.0 1.0
Toe 0 0
Stabilizers 4 4

Limited initial torque 20 0
Accel 40
decel 10

ASM 10
TCS 6

SOMEBODY HELP!!!!!

Hi, RacerGurl, and welcome to GTP!

First things first: I always turn ASM to zero. Always, for every car. It keeps the car stable, but it makes understeer a huge problem. FF cars like the Integra understeer enough to begin with, and ASM just makes it worse. Also, TCS of 1 is usually enough. This will help you get a little better acceleration.

For the handling, here are my settings, which I love. The car is best with between 250-275 hp.

Springs: 9.0/12.0 (full race suspension)
Ride Ht: 95/95 (too low with soft springs doesn't let the suspension work)
Bound: 5/10
Rebound: 5/10
Camber: 3.5/0.0 (a lot of front camber helps turn in and understeer, zero rear helps the tail step out)
Toe: +0.5/-1.0 (toe out at back helps the rear rotate)
Stabilizers: 3/6
LSD: 10/30/20

This is one of my favorite cars - very pleasant to drive. Hope this helps!

Springs: 9.0/12.0 (full race suspension)
Ride Ht: 95/95 (too low with soft springs doesn't let the suspension work)

Hmmm.. I prefer:
Springs: 13.3/9.5
Ride Height: 89/99

Reason: FF cars perform better with stiffer front springs, since the car pitches more in the front wheels due to the drive... just a suggestion. Try both and compare

SOMEBODY HELP!!!!!

looks like you need to lower the springrate, (all the way)
use soft tyres
add more camber to the rear (6-7)
DON'T USE ASM!!!!!!!!

this next one is optional:
lower tcs to 1, you are probably getting **** acceleration with the tcs at 6, especially in an acura

WOW after posting i read the responces of the last two previous posters. and they bolth post almost the opposite settings
those are the usual settings i use because when i was fine- tuning my mini those settings worked best, and they gave me the best handeling.....strange....strange

yours truly

mainly because everybody has different driving styles, and have come to these settings to suit thier own style of driving
More often than not I will try a new/different setup from someone else (more often than not it works ;) ), but if it does not work i will go back to what is comfortable for me, as would most people
