Setting On Board Adjustment with G25 Mapped in DFP Mode?

I figure out out to change the button assignment on the G25 in the DFP menu. Since my DS3 is assigned as controller one, you have to use the DFP setting labeled 2 to affect any changes to your G25 wheel. I checked some basic functions like high beam, and wiper and it it works as it should. Now a question though, I know that on DFGT you have those knobs and adjustment buttons so you can set bias and TCS or something. And they are basically the "RA Select +/-" and "RA Function +/-"(so 4 button assignments in total). What function do they do individually? Right now I have RA Function assigned to 2 buttons and I can't tell if they are doing anything. Are we suppose to select a function(thus assigning something to "RA Select"), then adjust it up and down? Also are you supposed to get some kind of on-screen notification if something is being changed?

I have G25 and use the gearshifter box X button to activate the menu while in a race, then use the arrow keys to scroll up and down/ left and right. The arrows will let you choose function and degree of setting etc.
