Hey guys, sorry if this has already been asked and covered before, right now I'm a bit frustrated and about to kick myself in the face.
I just made the mistake of purchasing 2 extra screens without looking at the inputs, my main monitor does have a DVI input but the other 2 only have HDMI and the old school Component Cable inputs.

I'm running a Powercolor 7850HD card.
What additional hardware do I need to make it work?
Can I get away with just using 1 DVI and 2 HDMI with some kind of adapter?
Or am I screwed with no chance?

These are the general video card specs:

Powercolor 7850
1 x HDMI
1 x DVI
1 x Display Port
Effective Memory Clock - 1200MHz (4.8Gbps)
Memory Size - 2GB
Memory Interface - 256-Bit
Memory Type - GDDR5

This is the card:

Please help me get this setup to work.
Thank you for looking in, any input is greatly appreciated!

I gave jav the info in a msg but for anyone else who is in the same boat. You need an "active" adapter in your monitor connections, in jav's case it's a active display-port to HDMI. Hope it helps.

Thank you so much Jonsey, I will definitely give it a shot tomorrow, there's a TigerDirect store near me so I'll stop by and pick one up, hopefully it'll work!
Now, does it matter which cable goes where?
Is anyone in particular supposed to go into the main monitor?

With Eyefinity, when you run 3 screens at least one connection has to be run through the DisplayPort, or with an active adapter running to the Displayport slot.

I use DVI ports on all three monitors. Adapters on two. Center iirc is straight cable.

Radeon card. Don't think you will have any issues using two hdmi ports.

I was all worried about videos saying needing to use display port. However I used an active adapter in two DSP and have no issues. So I'd think an active adapter to hdmi would be suffice.

My adapters are:

StarTech
Part # MDP2DVIS

You should need two of these:

You overlapping the bezel?

I prefer to hid my main center bezel behind the sides. Reducing the overall width of bezel being at an angle. ;)

Hey Jav!

Is there any possibility to return the monitors? HDMI connections, while digital (just like DVI) sometimes give trouble for Eyefinity setups. I've found the best connection to be DVI. Just like Owens, my three monitors are connected via DVI, two from the native ports and one using an active displayport to DVI adapter. You also lose a little bit of compatibility with no VGA or DVI inputs.

Look for ATI's list of officially supported adapters and make sure it's active. I recommend the Accell brand. I have two adapters from this brand (DP-VGA and DP-DVI) and they have worked great.

Regarding the main monitor, it doesn't really matter where you connect it but if your card has 2 DVI ports you can try using the red one.

Thank you for the feedback guys! Returning the monitor unfortunately is not a real option for me, the adapter route does sound very good for me and will definitely pick one up tonight and hopefully will have the monitor stand ready for the Sebring 120 next week!!
