settings for 400m...

Using my maxed out skyline gtr v spec II at 1044 hp, i've managed to get 9.244 seconds for my 400m time. I am using super soft tyres, as low as possible ride height, & spring rate as hard as possible. Is there anything else I can do to improve my speed. I've got good gear ratios, and i've worked out how to get a perfect start on my machine. Are there any other settings I can adjust, and other things I can do?
I am quite a beginner when it comes to settings, but i want to learn what exactly to do.
thnx 4 your help

Welcome to GTPlanet.

There are a few topics like this around so try and use the search bar at the bottom of the page. There is a topic around where people have been trying to break into the 8sec barrier with R34's so try there.

ive broken it i got 7.980 but i used the Skyline R34 R-Tune Skyline first get your A** of the ground dont use the lowest setting for the ride hight PM me for more if you interested

One thing I can think of off the top of my head is to rake your car; get the nose down and the tail up. When weight transfers back due to acceleration, you don't want that tail down to begin with, you'll only slow yourself.

Set up the transmission to hit redline in 4th gear, shifts hurt time and speed, every time you shift you lose time and speed so don't ever have it shift more than 3 times in a 400m. But don't do something stupid like redline in 2nd because you do need to keep the engine in its power curve, or -again- you'll lose speed and time. Run an overdrive 4th (3rd and 4th are closely spaced).

No you didn't. (Oooh. Deja Vu)

You have been banned from Racing Line for posting that time yet you still go on about it. Why?

Probably because he's dumber than a bag of leopard's arses.
