OK, so I have a thrustmaster T 80 wheel, and when I use it, the race will start fine,(for context I am currently racing formula c in career mode.) But then as I’m driving in the practice session, my car starts not handling as well and when I look at my settings they have all reset.

I set (and please don’t judge my choice of settings) steering assistance on, breaking assistance off, driving assists full, anti-lock brakes high, stability control on, traction control high.

It says that it saves but when I go back in everything is off. It seems that setting my t80 to controller mode fixed it but I really don’t want to have to do that, as that is not the way you are supposed to have to use it in this game.

Is this a bug? If so has anybody else experienced this? any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know the T80 and T100 are not force feedback wheels and work by emulating a controller, therefore controller mode should be correct for this wheel. The Thrustmaster force feedback range starts with the T150.

Force feedback is not a problem though. The problem is that my assistance settings keep resetting every time I use my t80, but they do not reset if I use my controller. I did not have this problem in project cars 1. So far as I know the t80 only emulates a controller in “controller mode”. If it’s not in controller mode, the game recognizes it as a steering wheel.
