Opening comments:

As we all know, this car, both the standard road model and the rally car, are considered to be hell on wheels. Well not anymore. I managed to tune the beast. And I'll be presenting it with you. For now, my main goal was to get the car driveable. But in order to do so, I had to up the amount of weight the ballast had and shift it in order to achieve a 50/50 wieght ballance. In the future I may try to deplete this, as for every 100kg you lose about 5mph off your top speed.

This car was tuned on Trial Mountain Circuit.

AIDS:

None are required, but I always use Skid Recovery and Traction Control at 1, but during this tune, neither were used.

Car Modifications:

All, including OIL CHANGE.

TUNE:

Aerodynamics: 15/30
Ballast Amount: 166
Ballast Position: -50
Transmission: Fully Customizable, but left stock at 155mph
LSD: Initial Torque: 15
Acceleration: 25
Braking: 35
Suspension: Ride Height: 2/0
Spring Rate: 6.0/8/0
Dampers Extension: 4/8
Dampers Compression: 3/5
Anit-Roll Bars: 3/6
Camber: 0.5/1.0
Toe: 0.10/0.40
Brake Balance: 8/5
Tires: Racing Soft

Closing comments:

This car was pain to tune but in the end it all worked out. Be sure to brake enough to hits those turns at the right speed, to minimize understeer. There is very little of it, but just to make sure. I tried to reduce it as much as possible. This car is a blast to drive now. Let me know how it works for you. Enjoy the car and don't forget to wear your seatbelt!

NEXT CAR: Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99
