Hi,

Since last week I have a full hd screen...
But I'm wondering what the best settings are.
Like Natural motion, dynamic contrast, ...
What things should be put on?

Sometimes when I'm in cockpit view,
it's like the shades that come on the dash are in squares..( I mean no fluent lines)
It sometimes annoys me. Anyone has an idea how this comes?

Thanks.

Best to set it to Cinema (sometimes called Movie) or at the very least Standard if your playing in the day time/alot of ambient light.

I was going to do a post for another forum about setting up optimal picture settings, i may repost it here if it'll be some help to people.

I tried with the cinema configuration,
and it was indeed better than the game configuration of my tv.
Thank you

I spent about a month messing around making custom settings on my Sharp Aquos.... The presets just didnt look nice... One was too bright the other too bland.. after a while of messing around I have found picture settings that look good on the PS3 and digital tv.. etc and I dont have to change anything anymore switching between devices... might not be a very practical way but im more then content with it now... :D

I think that's a GT5P issue. Shades resolutions may be too low and without enough anti-aliasing. Screen settings has nothing to do with that, but a color profile with high level of contrast may underline it.

I play on a Pioneer plasma with my own color settings, but I recommend cinema/movie as well.

Take a look at this screenshot : http://pici.se/pictures/ZiOvPbFpp.jpg Is the issue you are talking about similar to what we witness near the immatriculation plate ?

Outside i didn't notice anything particular,
but in the cockpit it was just so obvious...
but i have no picture to show it..
Cinema configuration is better, now maybe i can finetune that :)

If your TV has a gaming option use it as then the TV uses no post processing.

If possible also turn off any "special" features your tv may use to improve picture as these do not work for games.

Contrast might have been able to make you get around it, but I'm no techincian, so I wouldn't know.
